Business Development for academic and professional publishers

I spent 14 years in the publishing industry. Started at WEKA as a product manager, went to Kieser Verlag as editor in chief, then took over a consulting role at SIPA. At Walter de Gruyter I started electronic business from scratch and managed ejournals, eBooks and databases.

In January 2009 I started my own concultancy business, providing services to academic publishers and institutions in the research information sector.

Since April 2009 I am the Director Education and Training for STM – the Association of Scientific, Technical and Medical Publishers.

In May 2009 the long term cooperation with Kai-Henning Gerlach was intensified by opening up a common office.
